Trauma and PTSD
Awareness and attitudes around trauma have changed within the cultural zeitgeist in recent years. Understanding how trauma affects the mind, body, and emotions, as well as using processes to encourage healing is crucial when addressing these experiences in therapy. I use Eye-Movement Desensitatztion Therapy, inner child work, somatic processing, and here-and-now interventions to help my clients find freedom from these past experiences and integrate them into the greater narrative of their life.
